Refund Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
The short version: cancel anytime and keep access to the end of the month you paid for. If HandlePilot isn’t right for you, write to us within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund it in full.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription anytime from Billing in the app or from Polar’s customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. If you change your mind before then, you can resume the subscription from the same page.
Your first payment: 14-day money-back guarantee
If you’re not happy with HandlePilot, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund that payment in full. You don’t need to give a reason. We’ll also cancel the subscription, so you won’t be charged again.
Renewals
Monthly renewals aren’t refunded for the unused part of a month. When you cancel, you simply keep access until the period ends. We will refund a renewal if:
- you were charged by mistake or charged twice;
- you forgot to cancel, you write to us within 7 days of the renewal, and you haven’t used HandlePilot since it renewed;
- HandlePilot was unavailable for a significant part of the period you paid for.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@handlepilot.com from the address on your account. Tell us which payment the refund is for; the receipt from Polar has the details. We reply within 2 business days.
Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Polar to your original payment method. Your bank usually shows the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before you dispute a charge with your bank. We can almost always sort it out faster, and a refund through us reaches you sooner than a dispute does.
Your legal rights
This policy doesn’t limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including withdrawal rights in the EU and UK.
